This year’s sale of Kerry Hills at Melton Mowbray saw some 90 sheep forward and a top price of 370gns for a Cardington-bred ram from J C Bostock, selling to Ross Robson.

Judge Ed Simmons awarded the championship to Mr and Mrs C Price’s ewe lamb which was purchased by Max Logan for 190gns.

The top price female was a shearling ewe from the Tysoe flock of Chris and Bridget Price which sold for 260gns to J C Bostock.
