Fresh from her breed championship win at the Royal Welsh Show last month, a shearling ewe from J and P Owens’ Woodhouse flock clinched the breed championship at yesterday’s Burwarton Show and then went one better to take the interbreed championship as well. Adding to her win last month she was previously reserve at Kington Show last year.

Taking the reserve breed championship was a ewe lamb from Jim Rowe and Tom Webb. This one is by a Tannybrake ram out of a homebred ewe and has previously won her class at Three Counties and Monmouth.
