A good number of members from far and wide attended the open day at Lower Wilbury Farm, Letchworth by kind invitation of Dean & Katie Whybrow.

They were able to see some of the Cardington Flock and take part in a stock judging competition which included a pen of finished pigs to judge!  Gwilym Pugh won the adult section and Sophia Taylor won the junior section.

Members received a thought provoking talk on correct conformation from Dan Bull, a talk on the Young Stars Competition from Chris Adamson and a trimming demonstration from Darren Bevan.

Thanks must go those members who donated prizes for the raffle which raised £168.00 for society funds and to Dean and Katie Whybrow and all their helpers for putting on such a good day.
