Crookmuir Flock triumph at Balmoral

Rain didn’t stop play as Ms Kate Esler (Kingswater Flock) made the journey from Somerset to judge at this year’s Royal Ulster Agricultural Society’s Balmoral Show.   Five Kerry Hill exhibitors were forward on the day for judging, and after being away from the show scene for six years Fiona and Sean McAllister came back with a bang.

After winning a strong shearling ewe class the McAllister Ballycastle based Crookmuir flock took Kerry Hill Champion with their homebred shearling ewe.  The McAlistiar’s homebred ewe lamb then stood Reserve Champion.
