Sparkling all the way to the breed championship having come through as winner of the shearling ewe class under judge Alan Brimble was Gemstone Crystelle from A Wilson.
By Freebrough Lionel and out of a Woodhouse 2 female by a Clanfield tup, this one stood ahead of the aged ram winner, Fairfax Bonfire from Louise Barritt.
The two-year-old ram is homebred and by the flock’s stock ram from the Calcott flock and is out of a Thornship ewe.
Flying the flag in the interbreed championships, Angie and Stuart Burgess had the Non-MV champion Group of Three and reserve champion Non-MV Pairs as well.
