Kerry Hills met a selective trade at Melton Mowbray on Saturday.  Leading the trade was a yearling ewe from the Cardington Flock of Dean and Katie Whybrow which had stood second in the pre-sale show, selling for 490gns to J C Bostock for the Natan Flock.  The same purchasers secured another ewe from the same home for 460gns.

Champion in the pre-sale show was a yearling ram from the flock of Chris and Bridget Price, homebred by a Cuddington ram out of a Feldon ewe the ram sold for 150gns to new breeder J Beal, Doncaster.  The Prices also sold a two-year-old ram at the same money to Leeds City Council, and other rams making this price were from Henson and Andrews selling to J Dobson, Leicestershire and from Karen Richardson selling to R Brooks Market Rasen.

Reserve champion and leading the ram lamb prices was a lamb from Dean & Katie Whybrow.  By a Plaish ram out of a Garregllwyd ewe the lamb made 260gns joining the Natan Flock of J C Bostock.

Top priced ewe lamb was the third prize lamb from Dean and Katie Whybrow selling for 200gns to join the Midnight Flock of Paige Misslebrook
