There was a good show of sheep forward at the Nottinghamshire County Show for judge Ron King, with 6 flocks represented. Taking the female and overall championship was a yearling ewe from the Tysoe flock of Chris and Bridget Price. The ewe is homebred by a Plaish ram out of a homebred ewe.

The male and reserve overall champion was the yearling ram exhibited by Andrew Fisher. Purchased at the Society Sale at Melton Mowbray, the ram was bred by J C Bostock & Son. Standing reserve male and reserve female champion were lambs from Shirley Hill’s Pendin Flock.
