A cloudy but dry day gave judge, Mr Hamilton Hassard from Newtown Stewart, excellent weather for the job in hand. There was a great display of Kerry Hills from seven breeders. Three classes having seven in each class and these were from established and new flocks.

Mr Hassard chose his Champion, a ewe from the senior ewe class, from S&F McAllister’s Crookmuir flock, the same ewe was repeating her success as she also stood Champion in 2022. Reserve also went to the same breeder with their shearling ram. McAllisters also had the winners in the shearling ewe and ram lamb classes, a great day for them!

The senior ram class winner came from the flock of D Wightman, Oughley flock A Harkness, Cluntyganny flock, took the ewe lamb class and this was his very first time showing. A great day was had by all and the rain kept off until after the showing had finished.
