Leading the charge was Whitfield Double Diamond, a shearling ewe from Chris Adamson’s Whitfield flock based in Lancashire. This ewe didn’t just shine at the Yorkshire Show; she was also crowned Breed Champion at this year’s Royal Highland Show and took home the reserve female champion title at the Society’s National Show held at the Staffordshire County Show back in May.

The Overall Reserve Champion went to an aged ram from Andrew Fisher’s Nidderdale Flock, bred by Will Evan’s Lowlands Flock. Andrews Fisher’s success didn’t stop there his shearling ram secured the reserve male champion spot, while Chris Adamson’s other shearling ewe, Whitfield Double Act clinched the reserve female champion title.
