The AGM was held at Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran on Sunday 9th November 2024 and was attended by over 50 members.

The meeting was chaired by President, Sion Jones and went very smoothly, with apologies, followed by no matters arising from the last minutes. 72 new members had joined since the last AGM and there was no correspondence. 

In the absence of the Hon Treasurer, Linda Barnard, the financial report was read out by Kate Esler, Vice Chairman. 

Sion Jones was elected President for the second year and James Barr was elected President Elect.

The Chairmans report was read out by the Vice Chairman, Kate Esler, as John Owens was unable to attend the meeting due to ill health.

2 council members had resigned, Neil Radnor and Mark Ellis. Only one member applied to go on Council, Cath Kewley, so was elected without the need for a vote.

Council members for 2024-2027 are C Adamson, K Esler, S Jones, C Kewley, T Ward.

Honorary Chairman for the second year stayed as John Owens, with Kate Esler as Vice Chairman. C Adamson stayed as Honorary Secretary and Rebecca Wilkin will take over as Treasurer for the 2025 term.

The National show will be at the Great Yorkshire in 2025.

After a very good dinner, with 75 members attending, the presentations of the trophies were made by Sion Jones.
