The Society presents annual awards at the AGM based on points accrued at shows and sales throughout the year. Below is a list of the awards and the criteria for winning each section. The results will be announced at the AGM and subsequently published on the Society’s website and in the Flockbook.

Points from shows

  • The Cwmwhitton Cup *(Flock gaining most points at selected shows.)
  • John Brick Trophy *(Ram of the Year gaining most points at selected shows)
  • The Wrotham Trophy (Flock collecting the most points in AOB Classes in a year)
  • Centenary Perpetual Challenge Cup (Young Handler gaining the most points in YH classes)
  • Glyn Owens model Shepherd & Sheep (Young Handler gaining the second highest points in YH classes)
  • Kingswater Trophy (Flock gaining the most points at the National Show)
     
    *(qualifying shows) Royal Norfolk, Royal Highland, Royal Welsh, Royal Welsh Spring Festival, Royal Lancashire, Great Yorkshire, Three Counties, Burwarton, Dumfries, Westmorland, Honiton, Stafford, Balmoral, County Antrim. At these shows points will be allocated in the 6 main classes (no groups) as follows: (No points for male and female individual champions) First 3 points, Second 2 points, Third 1 point, Champion 5 points, Reserve 4 points
