The Downwood Flock’s success continued at the Rare Breeds Show held on the Sunday of the Three Counties Show. The Society held its first National Show as part of the Three Counties Show at Malvern. There was an excellent turnout for judge Geraint Roberts to sort out and his champion was the Male Champion, a two year old ram from the Downwood Flock owned by Jim Rowe and Tom Webb who received the Pentrenant

A good number of members from far and wide attended the open day at Lower Wilbury Farm, Letchworth by kind invitation of Dean & Katie Whybrow. They were able to see some of the Cardington Flock and take part in a stock judging competition which included a pen of finished pigs to judge!  Gwilym Pugh
